bethany is a friend of a friend of a friend who saw my pictures on livejournal and contacted me about doing a shoot with her friend ryann. usually, i like to get an idea of what people look like before a shoot just to give my mind a little time to play with the visual possibilities, but in this case, i had absolutely no idea what either of the girls looked like. i also ask everyone when they come for a shoot what they are looking to get out of the shoot. bethany said "sexy and sophisticated", ryann said, "sexy and goth". i think i succeeded at both :)
